About the Club

The Quorn Pistol and Shooting Club in located aproximatly10 minutes from Quorn in a tranquil bush setting.

Located 12km north of Quorn on the Warren Gorge Road, the club offers a range of rifle, shotgun and handgun disciplines.

The club regularly holds matches for Service Pistol, ISPC, Western Action, Shotgun and Rifles on our 25m to 200m range.  The club has five pistol ranges two undercover shooting areas, a clubhouse and toilet facilities.

The club was formed on December 7, 1982, following a public meeting. The first Match consisting of Air Pistol was held on February 8, 1983, in the local kindergarten building. The first outdoor shoot, IPSC, was held on September 14, 1985, at the clubs current range.

The club was started by the first President, Ray Sinclair-Wood, and there were 41 founding members. The club has had fluctuating membership in recent years, but now has a steady 50 members, including juniors and female shooters.

The clubs current land was donated to the club by the Stokes Family on 2016

There are many local attractions for visitors to enjoy while they are in the Quorn area, ranging from great places of scenic interest, four-wheel drive tracks, historic steam railway journeys, camel tours, bushwalking, cycling and more. Quorn also has good accommodation and dining including bed and breakfast, hotel, motel, and a great caravan park.

The Club encourages anyone who is interested in having a go at shooting, to come out and have a look. Club firearms are available under direct supervision of qualified range officer.
